John Edwards endorsed Senator Barack Obama in his
presidential bid today on Wednesday, May 14. It is already fairly certain, however, that the iconic democratic superstar Barack Obama will clinch the nomination really soon now, needing just over 100 delegates to fully secure the nomination. There are very few states and few pledged delegates left in the process, and it is virtually impossible for him to lose at this point.
There has also been a lot of speculation about
Obama's Vice President. John Edwards is likely on Obama's short list, which will probably be narrowed between him, John Kerry, and Bill Richardson. It is typically thought that Hillary and Obama can't get along long enough for a democratic white house victory, and it is highly unlikely he will select her for Vice President.
